Is it really possible to insure that?
You'll be surprised when you see all the things people insure these days. Let's rewind a couple of years, shall we?
A couple of years ago, car and home insurance were the main peanuts in the packet, they probably top the sheets today. Life insurance was a big thing if you worked in the mines or had some other kind of life threatening job. This could include being the guy who delivers milk in the morning, seeing that some people had vicious beasts they called dogs.
Some sports weren't even seen as professional, so the players didn't need to insure parts of their bodies. Today, the Formula 1 drivers insure their thumbs, the athletes insure their legs, and the archers insure their fingers. Strange how times can change so quickly.
Then of course, we have the actors. This one insures her hair and that one insures her body. I wonder what will happen if the little monster we call "age" kicks in. Will they pay out? Maybe over a time stretch? Who knows?
Insurance was a lot easier back in the day, not a lot of options and straight forward. These days, insurance companies are popping up everywhere and the one offers you more than the other. You even get a no-claim bonus if you were a good boy.
So, please, if you're a guitarist who went as far as to insure your hands, please keep them safe? You might get a nice no-claim bonus to finance that new guitar you so desperately want.
